Lift Installation: How Your Lift Is Correctly Installed
Installing a lift is a safety-relevant process. Errors during assembly – wrong anchors, insufficient concrete thickness, non-observed distances – can become dangerous in operation. What steps does a typical lift installation comprise?
First the optimal installation position is determined and marked. Then the drill holes for the anchors are bored in the concrete floor, cleaned and the anchors inserted. After the curing time (for compound anchors) the lift is set up and fastened to the anchor points. Finally hydraulics and electrics are connected and the lift is checked for correct function.
