Hydraulic hand pumps – For presses, jacks & hydraulic applications
Hydraulic hand pumps for presses, jacks and other hydraulic workshop applications. Find single-acting and double-acting models in various pressure ranges here – for flexible use without an external energy source.
What hydraulic hand pumps offer:
- Independent of compressed air & electricity: Hydraulic hand pumps work without an external energy source – ideal for mobile use and emergency situations.
- Single & double-acting: Single-acting models for standard lifting tasks, double-acting for applications requiring force in both directions.
- Various pressure ranges: Models for different pressure requirements – from simple jack drives to high-pressure press pumps.

Hydraulic Hand Pumps: Types and Uses
Hydraulic hand pumps are the simplest and most flexible way to generate hydraulic pressure. They require no electrical or compressed air supply and are therefore ideal for mobile use, as an emergency unit, or for occasional hydraulic applications in areas without a fixed energy supply.
How does a hydraulic hand pump work?
A hydraulic hand pump generates hydraulic pressure through manual operation (a lift-pull movement on the pump lever). This pressure is delivered via a hydraulic hose to the actuator (cylinder, jack, press) and converted there into mechanical force. An integrated pressure relief valve limits the maximum pressure – to protect the connected equipment and as a safety device.
What applications are hydraulic hand pumps suitable for?
Hydraulic hand pumps are suitable for operating workshop presses, driving hydraulic cylinders for straightening and spreading work, operating pipe bending and pressing equipment, and for mobile use on construction sites and vehicle repairs outside the workshop. Double-acting models are particularly suitable for straightening and spreading work requiring force in both directions.
