Lift Fastening: Why the Right Anchoring is Decisive

The floor fastening of a lift is one of the most important safety aspects during installation. A lift that is not correctly anchored can tip or shift under load – with potentially serious consequences. At hebebuehne24.de you'll find the right fastening material for all common lift models.

What types of fastening are available?

For lift fastening, compound anchors (also called chemical anchors), expansion anchors or adhesive anchors are generally used. Compound anchors secure threaded rods with a hardening compound mortar in the concrete drill hole and offer high pull-out force. Expansion anchors are driven directly into the drill hole and spread when driven in – faster to set but less suitable for higher loads. The choice depends on the lift manufacturer and the structural requirements.

What must be observed when drilling and setting anchors?

The concrete must be sufficiently thick and load-bearing – as a rule at least 15 to 20 cm concrete thickness. Always maintain the prescribed edge distance from cracks, joints and concrete edges. Thoroughly clean the drill hole of drilling dust before setting the anchor. And strictly observe the curing time of the compound mortar before loading the lift. If in doubt we're happy to help.
