Wheel Lifts up to 1,500 kg: The Heavy-Duty Class for Professional Fleets
Wheel lifts of this class are designed for the most difficult wheel change situations: heavy coach wheels, twin-tyre axles of long-haul trucks and special vehicles with extreme wheel weights. They are the crowning achievement of the wheel lift category and are correspondingly massively built.
For which vehicles are wheel lifts up to 1,500 kg needed?
Typical applications are heavy coaches and long-distance buses (wheels up to 150 kg), heavy long-haul trucks with wide single tyres (up to 180 kg) and special vehicles, fire engines and military vehicles with extraordinary wheel weights. These machines are also suitable for axle sets of trailers with extreme tyre dimensions.
What should I pay attention to when procuring?
For wheel lifts of this magnitude, precise knowledge of the heaviest wheel in the operation is important. Also, the lifting height of the wheel lift must be sufficient for the axle height of the tallest vehicle.
