Vehicle lifts 13,000–22,000 kg: heavy-duty technology for buses and lorries
In the 13,000 to 22,000 kg load class we are in the realm of heavy commercial vehicles and long-distance coaches. These lift systems are designed for maximum load-bearing capacity and longevity and must meet specific technical safety requirements. Careful planning of location, floor quality and ceiling height is absolutely necessary.
Typical application areas of this load class
Coaches and long-distance service buses with a permissible gross weight of up to 18,000 kg are among the typical applications, as are heavy lorries from 12 tonnes and articulated buses. For articulated lorries under full load, even higher load classes are generally required.
Planning notes for the installation of heavy-duty lifts
Systems of this size require particularly careful preparation. The concrete must be dimensioned for the point loads occurring – if in doubt, a structural engineer should be consulted. The supply capacity (electricity, hydraulics) and the space required for manoeuvring heavy vehicles must also be planned. Write to us with your requirements – we're happy to accompany you through this process.
