greases for lifts & workshop equipment – protection for all moving parts
High-quality greases are the simplest means of preventing rust and premature wear on lifts and workshop equipment. Regular lubrication of all guides, spindles and joints significantly extends the service life of your installation. At hebebuehne24.de you'll find suitable greases for all workshop applications.
What greases do:
- Rust and corrosion protection: Greases form a protective film on metal surfaces and prevent rust formation from moisture and aggressive cleaning agents.
- Wear reduction: Grease reduces friction on moving parts and thereby prevents metallic abrasion and premature wear.
- Long-lasting lubrication: Compared to oils, grease stays in the desired location longer and needs to be renewed less frequently.

Greases for Workshop Equipment: Selection and Application
Grease is one of the most cost-effective measures for extending the service life of workshop equipment. Regular greasing of the guides, spindles and joints on lifts, tyre changers and other equipment prevents rust and mechanical wear. Despite the minimal effort required, this measure is often neglected in practice.
Which grease is suitable for lifts?
For most lubrication points on lifts, a high-quality multi-purpose grease based on lithium soap is sufficient. It adheres well to vertical surfaces, is water-resistant and provides good protection against rust and corrosion. For high-temperature areas or particularly stressed bearings, special EP greases (Extreme Pressure) may be advisable.
How often should lifts be lubricated?
For professionally used lifts, we recommend lubricating the guides and spindles at least every three to six months. Joint connections and support arm bearings may need grease more frequently depending on the intensity of use. A visibly dry or rusty lubricant film is a clear sign that it's been too long since the last greasing.
