Regular use helps to maintain the performance and service life of the chain
WD-40® Specialist Motorcycle Chain Spray provides long-lasting lubrication for motorcycle chains and moving parts. It dries quickly and is particularly resistant to abrasion. The precise spraying device minimizes the consumption of the spray, as it can be applied very accurately. The spray is left to work for approx. 10 minutes after application so that it can penetrate all chain links to ensure complete lubrication.
The formula of the chain spray initially has a low viscosity, which allows the oil to penetrate the chain links very well. The oil then thickens, making it particularly adhesive. This prevents the lubricant from being thrown off and leads to long-lasting lubrication of the chain and reduced wear.
Due to its viscosity, the spray is water-resistant, which means it acts like a moisture-repellent coating. This keeps the chain running smoothly and minimizes running noise. It is ideal for dry road conditions and helps to prevent friction on the chain links to ensure optimum chain function.
Our tip:
Clean the chain beforehand with WD-40® Specialist Motorcycle Chain Cleaner. This will ensure a perfectly cleaned chain and ideal conditions for good lubrication.

Application:
Clean the chain before use to remove dirt, oil and deposits. We recommend using WD-40® SPECIALIST Motorcycle Chain Cleaner.
With the engine switched off, take the motorcycle out of gear and place it securely on a main or assembly stand. Shake the container well and apply WD-40® Specialist Motorcycle Chain Spray to the chain and sprockets while slowly turning the rear wheel with your free hand. Wait a few minutes to allow the chain spray to penetrate all parts of the chain and dry.
