Floor jacks from 800 kg to 60 tonnes for every application. Whether fast car tyre change, professional workshop work or heavy-duty applications – find the right floor jack in proven quality here.
Your floor jack selection:
- Hydraulic trolley jacks: Quickly positionable, low entry height for sports cars – the classic workshop tool.
- Pneumo-hydraulic models: Compressed air assisted floor jacks for even faster and effort-saving lifting in professional use.
- Load capacities up to 60 tonnes: Heavy-duty floor jacks with correspondingly high load capacity are available for heavy HGVs and buses.
Floor Jacks: Types, Applications and Buying Tips
Floor jacks are part of the basic equipment of every workshop and every well-equipped garage. They enable the quick raising of individual vehicle axles or sides – for tyre changes, brief underbody work and placing the vehicle on axle stands. The right choice depends on load capacity, entry height and frequency of use.
Which types of floor jacks are available?
Trolley jacks are the most common types: they can be rolled under the vehicle and lift hydraulically via a wide lifting saddle. Electric floor jacks are operated at the push of a button and are particularly convenient. Bottle jacks are more compact and available with higher load capacities. For very heavy vehicles such as HGVs and buses, special heavy-duty floor jacks are required.
What should I look for when buying a floor jack?
Check before buying: maximum load capacity (with safety margin above the heaviest vehicle), minimum entry height (especially important for sports cars and low-loaders), maximum lift height (sufficient for placing on axle stands) and rolling mobility for easy positioning. For intensive daily workshop use we recommend hydraulic professional models of good quality.
