This release kit unlocks the lifting arm locking mechanism on the Maha MA STAR 5.5 vehicle lift. In the lowered position it releases the lifting arms so they can be swivelled freely and positioned at the vehicle's lifting points. When the lift is raised, the lock engages and secures the arms against unintentional swivelling. Worn or damaged release parts prevent the arms from unlocking or from locking reliably – compatible with MA STAR 5.5, MA STAR 5.5 MB, MA STAR 5.5 STOCK and VAS 771 045.
