The control box is the central control unit of the car lift and is mounted on the main column of the Twin Busch TW 242 E at operating height. The housing contains the main switch, motor contactor, control transformer and the push buttons for raising and lowering. It drives the hydraulic motor and the lowering valve. A faulty control box means the lift no longer starts or can no longer be lowered – replacing it restores full control functionality.
