This microswitch is an original spare part for the Werther Stratos scissor lift. It works as a position or limit switch: as soon as the scissor frame reaches a defined position, the actuator plunger is pressed and sends a signal to the control unit, which then enables or stops the lifting or lowering movement. The switch therefore limits the end positions and ensures safe operation of the lift. A faulty or sticking microswitch can prevent the lift from raising or lowering or cause it to overrun its end position and should be replaced immediately.
