The guide band is a wear part inside the hydraulic cylinder of the car lift. It sits in the groove of the piston and guides it centred and free of play within the cylinder tube, preventing metal-to-metal contact. It absorbs lateral forces and relieves the seals, which prevents scoring of the cylinder tube and leakage. This guide band is designed for cylinders with an inner diameter of Ø 140 mm on the models PL 2.35 and PL 2.40.
