The rope pulley bolt forms the axis on which the rope pulley is mounted in the lift’s rope hoist system. The load-bearing rope is guided over the rope pulley, and the lifting force is evenly transferred to the guide rails or the lift carriage. A worn or seized bolt causes play and noise in the rope pulley as well as increased rope wear and should therefore be replaced in a timely manner.
