The emergency stop switch is the main and emergency-off switch of the car lift and disconnects the machine from the mains immediately. It is fitted to the front of the control box on the Twin Busch TW 236, TW 242, TW 250 and TW 260 and can be padlocked in position 0 so the lift cannot be switched on during maintenance and repair work. A faulty or stiff switch is a safety-relevant defect and must be replaced.
